Jessica Mathis is the new director of Northwest Chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship. Her and her husband, Barry, live in Paris, Tennessee with their three children, Sara, Ella, and Cael. Barry is a bi-vocational pastor of Ramble Creek Baptist in Benton County. Their family enjoys camping, riding four-wheelers, running distance races, and just having fun in general!
Jessica previously was a public-school teacher and felt the call to home-school her children. She learned about Child Evangelism Fellowship and Good News Clubs from the American Family radio station.
She contacted Randy Nicholas, director of CEF of Greater Jackson who had been praying for Northwest area of Tennessee. After much hard work, over the course of three years, and 20-30 volunteers who helped get everything going, three Good News Clubs have been established at three county elementary schools with even more being planned.
God is opening doors in Northwest Tennessee, and we are excited, along with Jessica, to partner with Northwest churches and schools to reach more children throughout the state of Tennessee with the hope of Jesus Christ.
